Beyonce Design Maternity Wear
Beyonce will never let a growing baby bump get in the way of fashion. Since debuting her baby bump in style (grabbing her belly on the red carpet while doing nothing but smiling) Beyonce has still been rocking leotards, short shorts and bikini’s but says she finds maternity wear inspiration everywhere.
“All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman,” Beyonce tells Harper’s Bazaar. Since Beyonce and her mom co-own Beyonce’s clothing line, “House of Dereon” this comment leads us to believe that Beyonce might design a range of maternity wear.
“It’s been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering, but I still rock my stilettos,” says Queen B. She better be careful, that’s how Victoria Beckham got a slipped disk, she wore stilettos right up until she popped out Harper Seven, heck she probably wore Louboutin’s while in labor. Gotta keep it classy.
Beyonce Debuts Dull Ballad ‘Best Thing I Never Had’
Is it mean to say this sounds like Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” paired with Ryan Tedder’s signature thump beat and some finger-wagging “Irreplaceable”-style girl power? Because that’s how this aggressively un-edgy single sounds. “Sucks to be you right now,” B sings (flawlessly, of course) on the Babyface-written slo-jam. We do not want to hear Beyoncé singing “Sucks to be you right now.” Some folks thought “Run the World (Girls)” was a little too out there, but Beyoncé already countered with sexed-up ballad “1 + 1″ and this is way too generic a sound for a star as unique as Sasha Fierce. Plus, it does not easily lend itself to incredible feats of multimedia awesomeness. Hey also, has Beyoncé mentioned she’s really into girl power?
